Food photography is a whole discipline in itself... Styling, lighting, presentation are all very important. You could use the same window light used for the portrait for a stronger visual presentation. Setting the food on elegant serving trays instead of the aluminum industrial containers would also help...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback. The lighting is particularly tough in the very short window of time to photograph the food. I have been searching the web for good resources on refining food photography. I agree that food could look better on more aesthetic platters, but capturing the tray is part of what the product being sold is. My challenge going forward is to maximize the presentation potential within the parameters.
